Again it has been a while since my last post. Family and life just always seems to take over and that is okay because all that should come before bloging. It has been a very busy long weekend. We decided to make a go of it and try again with a garden. We bought a dump truck load of top soil and spent all day saturday trying to clear the garden of weeds in order to put the top soil on it. Skip chopped out the roots from the lilac bushes that he had cut down the week before. In place of them we will put rasberries and saskatoons. Then on Sunday we went and bought all our seeds and other gardening supplies. Today was spent hauling sand back and forth from the driveway down to the end of our huge back yard to the garden area! Skip did most of that. I tried to keep Skyla out of mischief and plant some tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and flowers into pots as well. Skyla got dirty! Really dirty! But she had fun doing it. She helped daddy haul sand with her very own little wheel barrow that we picked up at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. She also rolled in the dirt, road on daddy's wheel barrow, and played in her kiddie pool. Pictures will follow in the next blog after I have had time to really load up the camera with shots.
