Again we have had a very full past few days. But they were full of fun! On Thursday we had a playdate in the park with http://www.borderline-bonkers.blogspot.com/. We played on the slide and swings, took a little walk down to the water, and went pee-pee in Skyla's friends little potty! It was a really warm and sunshiny day, perfect for a trip to the park.
On Friday we packed a bunwich lunch and headed off to Daddies Office building to meet Daddy and see where he now works! All morning Skyla kept saying, "Go to daddies work, go to daddies work." Skips dad, who is an architect, actually helped to design the building! Skyla loved making noises because it echoed so loud right through the place! She couldn't wait to go and climb the many stairs that went around in a circle up and up! And when she was up there she looked down through the glass stair rail, waved, and called "Hi, mommy!".
After lunch we went out in search of a 'Princess Dress' which I promised to Skyla for staying dry for a few days in a row. Skip had made up a little map for her with a comical drawing of Skyla at the start and a princess dress drawing at the end. Along the road she had to do a series of pees or poops with rewards of stickers, tattoos, and chocolate chips in between, once she completed the map she got a princess dress. So Friday afternoon at Daddies work she completed the map and so she got her 'Princess Dress'!
Friday night me and Anna from http://www.borderline-bonkers.blogspot.com/ got together at Starbucks for a mommy date as I call it. It was an hour and a half of none stop talking! How refreshing to have some adult company without the kids!
